The Bastle and Barn cottages form part of the original ancient Bastle house at Portgate Farm, located within walking distance into Allendale Town. Enjoy our farms nature and farming walking trails that take you on a journey through ancient woodlands, waterfalls , wildflower meadows and see the sheep, cows horses and chickens that graze the natural grassland pastures.
